About Us
The Darkroom Society is an online art gallery based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We offer open and limited edition, signed, fine art prints from both established and emerging artists. We are also an authorized partner of Getty Images Gallery with access to images from Getty’s vast archive.
Established in 1997, Getty Images Gallery offers the highest quality fine art prints of premium imagery produced from vintage photographic material housed in the Getty Images “Hulton” Archive in London. As the world’s largest commercial archive with over 80 million photographs and growing, it encompasses iconic and influential images including celebrities, history making moments, sports, music and creative expression.
Christine Skinner, Principal
Christine has spent over 15 years at Bonhams International Auction House as the Director, Art + Decor Department and as Generalist Appraiser for the Trust & Estates Department in San Francisco. Founding the Darkroom Society has allowed her to work with both beginning and established collectors in a setting that allows her to connect clients with artworks that bring them joy.
